I'm Jo, a canine massage therapistand I am here to help you help your gundog to live a healthy, happy life.

​I can help with preventing injury; maintaining/improving mobility and function; managing pain, especially chronic pain associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis and hip dysplasia and rehabilitating soft tissue injuries.

​

Services include: -

  • Massage, myofascial release and other manual therapies

  • Therapeutic exercises

  • Photizo light therapy - accelerates healing and provides pain relief

  • Kinesiology taping

  • Lifestyle and environment recommendations

As a sufferer of a chronic pain condition I know first-hand the detrimental effect of pain but also the profoundly positive effect massage, exercise and lifestyle & environment adaptations brings about

My dedicated treatment room is conveniently located just off the A21 on the Kent/East Sussex border.

 

I am registered with the International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT) which ensures that I am fully insured, have a recognised qualification, abide by the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and continue to develop my professional skills through CPD.

 

I trained with the Galen Therapy Centre gaining their Laser Learning Awards Accredited Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology and Canine Myotherapy (massage therapy) and SVPS Education to gain a certificate in competence in Small Animal Rehab.

 

I have also undertaken training in:

  • Myofascial release

  • Positional release & muscle energy techniques

  • Canine Arthritis Management

  • Understanding Stress in Dogs for Canine Therapists
