Hello & Welcome

I'm Jo, a canine massage & rehab therapist helping to rehabilitate soft tissue injuries; prevent injury; manage chronic pain associated with conditions such as arthritis and hip dysplasia and improve/maintain mobility. As the owner of working gundogs, I have a particular passion to help gundogs live a long and happy working life.

I offer: -

  • Postural assessment

  • Gait analysis

  • Massage, myofascial release and other manual therapies

  • Photizo light therapy

  • Kinesiology taping

  • Lifestyle and home environment advice

  • Targeted exercises

My dedicated treatment room is conveniently located just off the A21 on the Kent/East Sussex border.

I am registered with the International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT) which ensures that I am fully insured, have a recognised qualification, abide by the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and continue to develop my professional skills through CPD.

I trained with the Galen Therapy Centre gaining their Laser Learning Awards Accredited Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology and Canine Myotherapy (massage therapy).

I am currently studying Small Animal Rehabilitation with SVPS Education (Sussex Vet Physio) and have already undertaken additional training in:

  • Kinesiology taping

  • Myofascial release

  • Canine Arthritis Management

  • Understanding Stress in Dogs for Canine Therapists

As well as a desire to keep my working dogs in top condition and do as much as possible to prevent injury, two of our dogs were diagnosed with arthritis and as a sufferer of a chronic pain condition myself I know first-hand the detrimental effect pain has but also the profoundly positive effect regular massage and exercise can have which led me to canine massage and rehabilitation.

If you would like to know more about how I can help your dog please get in touch.
